Our ATV and UTV options serve different groups. ATVs are single-seaters for one rider per machine. Polaris side-by-sides have steering wheels and two, four, or five seats, including the driver, so your group can ride in the same vehicle.
A strong ATV and UTV day starts with the right machine, the right duration, a legal route, and a realistic plan for the group. Memories helps guests compare ATV and UTV options, complete the required steps, and understand where the approved ride begins.
For the resort-area flow, check in with Memories at Grand Traverse Resort, complete waivers, fit helmets, and use the coordinated transfer to the approved trailhead. Do not plan to ride from an old business address.
Guided or self-guided?
Guided rides are a comfortable fit for first-timers, mixed-experience groups, and visitors who want a hosted route. Self-guided rentals give capable groups more time and flexibility while still beginning with orientation and route information.

Pick the right duration
Two hours can deliver a focused taste of the trail. Four hours creates room for breaks and exploration. Eight hours supports a bigger Northern Michigan route when trail, weather, and booking details allow.

Get the crew ready
Every participant completes the required waiver sections. Drivers bring the documents identified in the booking. Closed-toe shoes, weather-ready layers, and careful attention to the pre-ride briefing help the group start smoothly.
