Single-seat ATV rentals

Take the trail on your own machine. Our ATVs are single-seaters: one rider per ATV, with no passenger seat. If your group wants to ride ATVs together, reserve a separate machine for each rider.

Check live availability for the exact ATV, rental duration, price, and rider requirements for your date.

What to know

The machine is only half the experience.

Our ATV and UTV options serve different groups. ATVs are single-seaters for one rider per machine. Polaris side-by-sides have steering wheels and two, four, or five seats, including the driver, so your group can ride in the same vehicle.

A strong ATV and UTV day starts with the right machine, the right duration, a legal route, and a realistic plan for the group. Memories helps guests compare ATV and UTV options, complete the required steps, and understand where the approved ride begins.

For the resort-area flow, check in with Memories at Grand Traverse Resort, complete waivers, fit helmets, and use the coordinated transfer to the approved trailhead. Do not plan to ride from an old business address.

Fife Lake, Kalkaska, and Lake City may be trail regions or ride destinations. They are not automatically the pickup or check-in point for every ATV and UTV reservation.

Guided or self-guided?

Guided rides are a comfortable fit for first-timers, mixed-experience groups, and visitors who want a hosted route. Self-guided rentals give capable groups more time and flexibility while still beginning with orientation and route information.

  • Guided: local leader and defined experience
  • Self-guided: more control over pace and stops
  • Every option: follow machine-specific rules and legal routes

Pick the right duration

Two hours can deliver a focused taste of the trail. Four hours creates room for breaks and exploration. Eight hours supports a bigger Northern Michigan route when trail, weather, and booking details allow.

  • Match the duration to the least experienced driver
  • Leave time for check-in and safety orientation
  • Return on time with the machine in the required condition

Get the crew ready

Every participant completes the required waiver sections. Drivers bring the documents identified in the booking. Closed-toe shoes, weather-ready layers, and careful attention to the pre-ride briefing help the group start smoothly.

  • Complete waivers before arrival when possible
  • Bring the required driver license and payment card
  • Use included safety gear as instructed

Contact Memories
Do I need a truck or trailer?

No for the resort-area experience. Memories coordinates the transfer between resort check-in and the approved trailhead.

Can two people ride one ATV?
